CNY 2008, London

China Town, and seemingly the rest of central London, was locked down & dressed up for a huge Chinese New Year Festival!
Thousands of people showed up for food, music, fireworks, dance, and of course my favorite, Kung Fu!

Best Commercials of the XLII Superbowl 2008

Well the Giants just won the Superbowl with 30seconds to spare, but the real highlight of any Superbowl, as we all know, is the commercials! :)

Each year these are the most expensive commercials on Air, that is what they pay for the 30second spot, not the prouction costs! Superbowl is only second to the final of MASH in record viewers, hence the expensive commercial slots

Unfortunately for some, all the money went into buying the spot, with none left to produce a decent commercial to put in it. But theres always some good ones, here is my top 10! Vote below for your fave, and you can check all the rest out on Myspace.

Cloverfield

I went to see a midnight session of Cloverfield last night, and I guess it was as I expected. It’s campaign was basically viral marketing, and had no title, simply the date 01-18-08. J.J Abrahams was behind Alias (great) and LOST (couldn’t get into it). I had a feeling this movie was going to have too much of that LOST feel to it. Anyways, It’s a little hard to write about without spoiling things, but I’ll give it a go.
