As bright and happy as London is during winter, I went down to Tony & Gudrun’s place (My Uncle & Aunty) at Gosport (across from Portsmouth Harbour) for a more cheerful xmas. I think it’s the most of my relatives I’ve seen at the same place and time! Shows you how spread out our family [...]

So apparently I share my birthday with a) Toni Collete, and (quite conveniently) b) World Vegan Day!
After meeting Corey and Drew for a quick drink I joined some total strangers vegan friends for a vegan dinner! Veg Tai is a combination Chinese/Thai Vegan buffet offering some of those fake meat style dishes loaded with salt, [...]

Brown Rice Cafe is a nice little Vegan resturant just off fashionable Omotesando. The presentation was nice, but unfortunately the 20cent coin next to the burger is reference for size! Honestly, I almost laughed when they brought out my Burger. I thought “Should I eat this in 1 bite or 2?”. And you should have [...]

Almost every country I’ve been too I noticed a vegetarian restaurant called “Govinda’s”, which is apparantly another name for the Indian God, Krishna, and means ‘one who looks after cows’. Who knew?
So of course I also found one here in Tokyo! Slightly difficult to get to, Govinda’s in Nakano offers good, cheap, Vegetarian food, with [...]

Christoph the swiss (aka Tofu) and I met at Stockholm airport to go to Shahab’s place for a mini Tokyo reunion! Shahab is a fellow Vegan and also into party organising, so he had quite a weekend planned!
Stockholm & its people = beautiful & friendly! Plus they love to drink and Party!

Shanghai gave me the chance to meet up with Bao Qin who was there for work and Dave from Postmodern who jut finished the Trans-Mongolia route!
Bao Qin was very busy but we managed to checkout the great Jujube restaurant – its name means “hurry up and become a vegetarian” The food here was great. I [...]
