No we are not Homeless;) Futako Tamagawa station is on a bridge which goes over the Kanda River (snakes throughout Tokyo) and many people go there on the weekend for BBQs, Sports etc. There is grass for ovals but people gather under the bridge for shade and cover, and bring their own portable BBQ gear! As well as music, tarp sheets, tents and of course alcohol. Theres even 3 old Japanese guys who manage all the trash.
We setup and had snacks and drinks in the afternoon sun. It was also a small Sayonara party for Mayuko who leaves for Canada on Thursday!!

Kawasaki ‘Frontale’ Vs Chiba
Our mate Takeshi had tickets to a J-League game and invited us. We live in Kawasaki but he is originaly from Chiba!
When we first arrived and tried one of the gates, I couldn’t believe the line. Honestly it was the longest que I have ever seen, and by the time I found the end I was 10min from the stadium!! Luckily we realised our tickets also worked on another gate which was completely free
The crowd was quite pumped, home side fans even had full drum kit, and the teams were close in the ranks. Fun match but as with Aus all they Star-Players are over in Euro-Land.
End result 1-1, but I’m pretty sure I was safe from any potential Riots (like I saw in Rio!) anyways.

This interesting poster was at a place called JJ Club. Basically its like a games center, with video games, sports games etc and very cheap. For about $4 an hour you get everything free inside! Loads of pool tables, table tennis, squash, target sports games where you kick a soccerball or pitch to knock down numbers etc. Great fun!
The picture above was obviously for a baseball hitting game.
