We started Xmas 2015 at the airport, and headed to Bali for the holiday period! After our success with Air BnB in Aus, we used it to find our accommodation in Bali too. For our first few days we stayed at a villa in Seminyak, with a huge, part-open-air bathroom, and a pool. We didn’t really do much in Seminyak (there isn’t much really.. the beach wasn’t great and we don’t go to clubs and bars!), basically just walking around, checking out markets, and trying all the awesome vegan food in the area (tacos, lasagna, burgers, crepes, cocoa bowls, desserts etc). We went to Tanah Lot, a temple on the beach, and joined a couple thousand others to watch the sun go down.
Previously I have not been a big fan of RAW food, but we actually liked Divine Earth the best, which was mostly raw. They also had a small cinema room with big comfy chairs, so we ate dinner while watching a movie and were the only ones in there!
