Monster Trucks!!!

Yes, it needs those exclamation marks. Because you can’t just say ‘monster trucks’, you have to announce it, with fist-on-table stomping action, “MONSTER TRUUUUCCKSS!!!”

I went with Jess to see the Rogers Centre turned into a big sand pit playground for jacked up trucks on ridiculously massive wheels. Its actually more organised than I expected, and a competition of sorts rather than just all out mayhem (not as red neck as I’d hoped). But its still pretty cool. First they have 1 on 1 races around the circuit, then a demonstration showdown where they just go nuts with jumps, car crushing and doughnuts!

Mid way they had some crazy motor cross action, doing huge trick jumps. And at the end, probably the most entertaining part, demolition derby! They started with about 30 cars, two lines facing back to back, and reversing into each other, then just causing as much damage as they could till there was only one man standing. Friggin’ hilarious!
