Air Asia has started flights from Kuala Lumpur to London this year, and did so with some great ofers! I got a bargain ticket, and opting to bring my own food and entertainment saved a few more quid. It was a 1am flight at Stanstead so i took this photo while waiting to board (of another plane though!).
The 13hr flight was fine, surprising leg space, free seat next to me, didn’t fall out of the sky.. the usual. But after all my flights, I still can’t work out how the hell to get comfortable enough to sleep.
ENTER SEASIA!
In a prequel of sorts to the FA Cup final, we saw Chelsea play Everton in a Premier League Match at Stamford Bridge Stadium (Chelsea’s Homeground next to Fullham Broadway).
The crowd at an English game is much tamer now as security and officials have cracked down hard in recent years. You can’t even take a beer back to your seat! But still fun.
Although Chelsea had numerous attempts at Goal, they couldn’t quite finish it off and the closest chance hit the top bar, resulting in a relatively uneventful 0-0 draw.
The weather was great for an afternoon in the park, as I joined the Japan Society’s Hanami party in Hyde Park! Eating and drinking Japanese foods in the sun under (next to) Sakura (cherry blossom trees). Continue Reading…
