Pete’s Prague Tour
My tours are infamous. Just ask Gabby. Or ask anyone about my superb knowledge of Sydney.
So with Catherine and Clare coming to Prague, it gave me a chance to play host and show them around.
I met them at their hostel, and we began a planned walking tour. Starting with Old Town square and the spectacular astronical clock, then to Wallenstein Gardens with the fake wall and the panther cage, past various statues, the chair museum, up to the Palace, round to Petrin Hill with Petrin Tower and the Mirror Maze and back over Charles Bridge and down to the Dancing House.
By the end of the day, both Catherine and Clare couldn’t decide when I was telling the truth and when I was talking utter bullshit. Mission accomplished
That night we went to see a Black Light Theater show called Life is Life. It wasn’t quite like I expected, as I thought they would only use black lights and no normal lights, but it was still fun.
Before that we went to my favourite restaurant in Prague, Clear Head. Its a Vegetarian restaurant with many Spanish based dishes, loads of vegan options and all excellent food at a reasonable price. They also have an Aztec Hot Chocolate, with cashes and spices. It’s more of a liquid chocolate than a chocolate drink. Tasty though!
