November 1st…and 2nd

So apparently I share my birthday with a) Toni Collete, and (quite conveniently) b) World Vegan Day!

After meeting Corey and Drew for a quick drink I joined some total strangers vegan friends for a vegan dinner! Veg Tai is a combination Chinese/Thai Vegan buffet offering some of those fake meat style dishes loaded with salt, but also some real vegan food. And its Cheap! There are about 6 of them in Soho alone, at varying degrees of standard. (Luckily the one in Angel is one of the better ones! Great for a late-night feed.)
Anyway that was quite nice and civilized, and turns out 3 others were in the production industry.

Next Day, After already milking face book and Timezones to get a 33hr Birthday, I kept it up and Joined Justine and some of her friends on Friday. After drinks at Waxy Oconor’s we moved to a restaurant in China Town and shared a jug of Pineapple Daiquiri that seemed to have no alcohol what-so-ever, so Juzz decided a JUG of Long Island Ice Tea with Extra Rum was a good idea!…..’course it was… A couple of the guys were even forced to make use of the wonderful “public urinals” they “install” around the center just for the weekends, [pictures withheld!!] you know what I mean if you’ve seen them.

I got home around 3am and was fumbling to open the door when my flatmate opened it for me. This was all very confusing because it wasn’t our house! In the dark and returning late for the first time to this place, I had gone to the adjoined Town House, which has an identical entrance next to ours and had lights on inside. My flat mate was hanging out there, and I had met them last week so i stayed for a bit before going back home next door.
