No not the Australian Radio Station, NOVA is an English school in Japan, and is the largest employer of foreigners. Basically in the last few months the company has been sliding, which resulted in things such as

- Failing to pay staff
- Failing to pay their advertising costs
- Closing branches
- Taking on students and giving them to teachers that simply aren’t qualified to deal with them or be in safe practice

All while the CEO has a 330m squared “office” with secret door leading to a Jacuzzi, Sauna, double-bed room, tea room, city views etc. Apparently he is currently MIA.

This has inevitably resulted in full bankruptcy, leaving thousands of foreigners with out jobs, and many cases accommodation!

Well, after 5 weeks, and far overstaying my welcome at Corey”s, I”ve moved into my own place!

In looking for a place I
- checked one place where the whole building smelt like Grandma
- found many with more people than a hostel
- avoided an intricate scam from some Nigerians
- and worst of all, lost the chance to share a place with 3 Swedish Girls!

But now I”m here! My own Double room in a 5 bedroom split house with big kitchen (score), in Angel Islington.
