For those of you, ie my family, who aren’t as otaku as me or familiar with this style of blog:

This is gonna be my blog for 2007, opposed to the infamous Scrapbook of 2006. I’ll be adding pictures and stories etc for every bored person at work to check out.
New posts will automatically appear at the top of the page, and some longer ones will have a continue reading… link and pictures so click away! With a next page link at the very bottom of the page. And you can post comments by clicking on the Title of the Post.
No Guys, I dont want comments about Viagra, Xenex, stock market tips, or your brother in Nigeria. But keep sending on the porn as always.

You might be wondering what all this crap on the right hand side is?
。First up is a list of related Tags to posts (a post is an entry to the blog, you are reading one right now). So you can easily find all posts related to tokyo for example
。Archives: is the easiest way to check old posts, by month etc.
。Underneath the mate’s links are options to subsribe to this blog via email or RSS (should I attempt to explain RSS? just google it..)
。Then there is just a few nifty little things that are probably only useful to me, but it’s my site so I’ll do what I like. And I’ll add to this as time goes.

Me and the garden

Oh shit. My tourist Visa runs out in a week… I have to leave the country.. Where’s close… Taiwain…Singapore…Korea!

That was basically my reasoning to go to Seoul, but in 2 nights (not the shortest I’ve spent in one country) I found the people to be very friendly, the city clean and spacious, very Aussie-like prices, and even some food I was able to eat. Continue Reading…

Govindas 1

Almost every country I’ve been too I noticed a vegetarian restaurant called “Govinda’s”, which is apparantly another name for the Indian God, Krishna, and means ‘one who looks after cows’. Who knew?

So of course I also found one here in Tokyo! Slightly difficult to get to, Govinda’s in Nakano offers good, cheap, Vegetarian food, with Vegan options! This includes Vegan deserts like Cheesecake!! Unfortunately they had sold out.

I went with Bao Qin, Mayuko, Aiko and Masayuki and the 5 of us took up half the place. The chef’s were Japanese and spoke a little english, and understood various requirements of vegetarians! A rarity in Japan.
