RTW: p49 - Amsterdam(age)

Arriving about 11pm, we got directions to our apartment: get the train to the station with the same name as our street, 20min away. OK.
Exiting the station, I first saw the worlds largest mosquito, and soon we realised something was very wrong. The area seemed too far out, very dodgy looking, and locals insisted our street DIDN’T EXIST!
We retreated on the LAST train back to central and boarded a cab with GPS to our nice apartment only 5min away, narrowly avoiding a night in the ghetto!

Greg’s mate had a small boat which we fit 9 of us into (including my cousin Demelza!) and toured the waterways.
We also did the Heineken Experience, Walked the Red Light District and of course, visited a Coffee Shop or two.
