Ahh Roppongi. The well known area of tourist night life in Tokyo. And a certain reputation that goes with it.

First stop, AMPM. The mighty idea of buying $2 roadies before paying $10 in a bar. Our swiss leader Michi “Sphen from Bonds” led us to Motown, a pub with music ranging from Vengaboys to Offspring, and as always, Roppongi = Gaijin. Probably the only place in Japan the foreigners outnumber the Japanese.
Hearing a few songs for the 3rd time, we decided the CD was on replay and time to move on.
Spotted an interesting car park while walking to the next place. Why you need a HUMMER in Tokyo I don’t know but this is the 2nd tricked out H2 Ive seen. The other car had its front bumper sticking out its back window…right.

Getting to Muse around 3am us guys had to fork out 2000¥ for entry, incl 2 drinks. LOCKERS = Awesome. Many places in Tokyo let you ditch your jacket etc for 200¥, nice. Not a bad place but loaded with gaijin and the first BAD DJ I’ve heard in tokyo.
About 5am we ignored the gaijin fighting outside and headed home for a completely random conversation for an hour in the kitchen about the mighty JR (Japan Rail) :) Me denoting myself the official Gaijin Promoter of the JR and hater of Metro (think Holden vs Ford).
The next day not one of us was up before mid day, Andrea (blue steel photo) managed a 5:30PM wakeup!
BTW, wanna buy some flowers at 3am? Add florists to the list of all-night shops.
